Reiki
Reiki is a form of energy healing. The word "Reiki" comes from the Japanese words "rei" (universal) and "ki" (life energy). Energy can stagnate in the body where there has been physical injury or possibly
emotional pain. In time, these energy blocks can cause illness. Reiki aims to help the flow of energy and remove blocks in a similar way to acupuncture or acupressure.

One of the greatest Reiki healing health benefits is stress reduction and relaxation, which triggers the body's natural healing abilities (immune system), aids in better sleep and improves and maintains health. Reiki can be used alongside other conventional or complementary treatments and often helps to provide emotional support during recovery.
During Reiki treatments the client remains clothed and lies on a couch and relaxes. The practitioner gently places their hands in a series of non-intrusive positions on or near the body. There is no massage or manipulation.
